Voter Registration A person must be registered to vote in the county Auditor's office to be eligible to vote in any election. A citizen may register to vote at the Auditor's office, or for an online registration form you may visit:

Absentee voting To vote absentee you will need to fill out an official Absentee Ballot Request form. You can either come to the Auditor's office at the Emmet County Courthouse, 609 1st Ave N, Estherville, IA or call us at 712-362-4261 to request that a form be mailed to you or CLICK HERE to download one, then print, fill it out and return to our office and we will mail your Absentee ballot to you.
