VOTER REGISTRATION
A person must be registered to vote in the county Auditor's office to be eligible to vote in any election. A citizen may register to vote at the Auditor's office, or for an online registration form you may visit: http://www.sos.state.ia.us/elections/voterreg/reg_to_vote.html Print the form, fill it out and return it to the Auditor's office.
ABSENTEE VOTING
To vote absentee you will need to fill out an official Absentee Ballot Request form. You can either come to the Auditor's office at the Emmet County Courthouse to request that a form be mailed to you or click the following address www.sos.state.ia.us/PDFS/AbsenteeBallotApp.pdf to download one, then print the form, fill it out and return to the auditor's office and office staff will mail your Absentee ballot to you.
